We are located on the South West corner of Appleby Line and Upper Middle Road, in the medical building next door to Harvey's and Swiss Chalet. We are on the ground floor between the Pharmacy and the Optometrist's office.

Our Burlington team serves Burlington and the surrounding communities of Aldershot, Burlington North, Oakville, Hamilton, Waterdown, and Stoney Creek. As part of the Sense of Hearing network, we offer the same high standard of patient-focused care that has defined our practice since 2002.

Norman graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1993 with a Master of Science Degree (M.Sc.) in Communication Disorders – Audiology. Norman joined Montcalm Audiology & Hearing Aid Services Ltd. in February 2004 and has been practicing Audiology for more than 25 years. In October 2007 he earned his Doctor of Audiology Degree (Au.D.) having completed his Professional Doctorate Degree studies at A.T. Still University in Arizona.

Nina earned her Master of Clinical Science (Audiology) from Western University's School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University, earning an Honours degree in Cognitive Science of Language. She also holds a certificate in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Brock University. Nina works at our Burlington location performing audiological assessments and prescribing, fitting and verifying hearing instruments for adults and children. Nina is passionate about patient-centered care and enjoys building meaningful relationships while guiding individuals through their hearing-health journey.

Maryann is no stranger to Sense of Hearing. She's been with our office since October 2015 and after a short hiatus, has returned to our Burlington location. She has completed the Leadership Skills Certificate Program at University of Toronto. She has worked in the medical field for over 8 years and has brought her experience to us.

No referral is needed for a private hearing test. For OHIP-covered hearing tests between ages 18 and 64, a physician referral is required. Children under 18 and adults 65+ are covered by OHIP without a referral. We also accept ADP, WSIB, VAC, and most private insurance plans.
