Elka Gold brings nearly 20 years of experience in hearing healthcare, with a strong background across diverse clinical and hospital settings. She holds a Master of Science in Audiology from Dalhousie University and is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). Elka practices full-time at our Etobicoke location, where she provides comprehensive audiological assessments and specializes in the prescription, fitting, and verification of hearing aids and assistive listening devices, as well as earwax removal. She is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient-centered care. Elka has been a valued member of the Sense of Hearing team since 2010.

Rosa has a PSW background and a Medical Office Administration diploma, with over 10 years of customer service experience. She previously worked at an Urgent Care Centre and has been the office manager at our Etobicoke clinic since 2018, helping patients with appointments, insurance coordination, and ADP funding.

No referral is needed for a private hearing test at our Etobicoke clinic. For OHIP-covered hearing tests, adults aged 18 to 64 require a physician referral. Children under 18 and adults 65 and over are covered by OHIP without a referral. We also accept ADP, WSIB, VAC, and most private insurance plans.

Our Etobicoke clinic provides comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, repairs and adjustments, custom earmolds, assistive listening devices, tinnitus support, pediatric audiology, and earwax removal. We carry hearing aids from all major manufacturers including Phonak, Oticon, Signia, Widex, Starkey, ReSound, and Unitron.
